Walk, Talk and Play is a The Crew Club project to address the negative impact the pandemic and subsequent lockdowns had on parents and their children. Many of our families live in overcrowded or insecure accommodation and lack the space or facilities to engage in active or messy play with their children.

Walk, Talk, & Play starts with a 1k led walk followed by a play session designed to support healthy child development. The sessions also provide parents with regular times to meet, a place for their children to be active and engage in playful activities that they could not do at home.

The session finishes with parents being supported to cook a healthy lunch for themselves and their children.
